WiFi temperature sensor used for monitored bed bug heat treatments

WiFi monitoring

Live WiFi temperature monitoring on every heat treatment

We don't guess, we monitor. Our WiFi sensor software tracks the temperature in every room in real time so we know — and can prove — that the kill zone has been held long enough to eradicate every life stage.

Why monitoring matters

Heat treatment isn't just about making a room hot. It's about driving lethal temperatures into the places bed bugs actually hide — mattresses, headboards, bed frames, skirting voids, sofas — and holding them long enough to kill adults, nymphs and eggs.

Our WiFi temperature sensors are positioned around each treatment zone and report live to a computerised program. If a sensor lags behind, we know immediately and adjust — moving air, repositioning heaters, or targeting the area with handheld 180°C units. Combined with thermal imaging cameras, this is how we guarantee no cold spots are missed.

Sustained, monitored heat is what turns a hot room into a complete kill. We let our sensors decide when a treatment is finished — not the clock.

Our monitoring stack

  • ALTA multi-gateway hub: aggregates sensor data from every room.
  • Wireless temperature sensors: placed at known harbourages and likely cold spots.
  • Live dashboard: graphs ambient and surface temperatures throughout the treatment.
  • Thermal imaging cameras: spot cold spots in real time so they can be finished off.
  • Client access (optional): we can give you live visibility of the treatment as it runs.
